A traditional Asian inspired treat!

Each persimmon is delicately hand peeled, hung to dry for several weeks, individually gently massaged to extract the inner sugars, and finally taken down and put into a chamber to cure the fruit into a uniquely delicious, sugar coated treat.

Tasting notes are of honey & spice and pairs well with a cup of tea

A centuries-old technique originating in East Asia of drying persimmons in a way that excretes the natural sugars of the fruit to the surface, while maintaining a firm and chewy center.
